Rasuwako Gosainkunda Rural Municipality Locals Await Rescue

Kathmandu. Locals of Timure, Ward No. 2 of Gosainkunda Rural Municipality in Rasuwa, are waiting for rescue. According to Ward Member Pema Dorje Ghale, more than 300 locals in Timure are currently waiting for rescue. The flood has destroyed everything in the Timure area. There is nothing here now, neither the old settlement nor the market. There is no situation to tell how much damage has occurred.

“Whether it is by helicopter or by what means, please make efforts for our rescue. There is no food here, no clothes. Those who come to a flat area of some height in the morning have survived. There is no account of loss of life and property,” Ghale told Ratopati.
