Government Discusses With Family of Man Who Attempted Self-Immolation

Kathmandu. The government has been continuously discussing with the family of Ganesh Nepali, who died during treatment after attempting self-immolation in Tripureshwor. The discussion, which started at 5 PM on Saturday evening, is still ongoing on Sunday morning.

Ganesh, who set himself on fire in front of the Passport Department in Tripureshwor on Asar 25, died the following day. His body has been kept at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for post-mortem. Post-mortem has not started due to lack of agreement with the family. Kathmandu's Chief District Officer Ishwar Raj Poudel said that the body has been 'frozen' at the Teaching Hospital.
