Two Rescued From Tree After Flood in Nuwakot

Kathmandu. Two people who climbed a tree to escape the flood in Bidur, Nuwakot, after the floodwaters from Rasuwa mixed with the Trishuli River have been rescued. Two people who had climbed a tree at Devighat in Bidur Municipality-5 have been rescued, SP Bipin Regmi of Nuwakot told Ratopati.

They were rescued by the Armed Police with the help of locals. A helicopter was also mobilized at Devighat. SP Regmi informed that a woman and a man who saved their lives by climbing a tree have been rescued.
