Government Decides Financial Aid for Flood Victims

Kathmandu. The government has decided to provide immediate financial assistance to the families of those who lost their lives in the severe flood in the coastal areas of Rasuwagadhi and Bhote Koshi rivers.

After an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers, government spokesperson and Minister of Education, Sashmit Pokharel, informed that a decision has been made to provide relief and compensation amount to the families of the deceased as per the prevailing law. The government has taken this step to provide financial balm to the bereaved families, expressing condolences to the deceased.
