Home Minister Sudhan Gurung Arrives at Airport for Flood Rescue

Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has reached the airport to make the search and rescue of damage in Rasuwa and Nuwakot due to flood in Bhote Koshi effective. A large damage has occurred in settlements along the banks of the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers due to the flood of the Lhende river coming from Tibet, China. Security personnel have been mobilized in the riverine areas of Rasuwa and Nuwakot for search and rescue. His secretariat informed that Minister Gurung reached the airport to make the search and rescue effective. 12 helicopters have been mobilized in the area for search and rescue. Gurung reached the airport for effective mobilization in search and rescue. The injured rescued are being brought to Kathmandu by helicopter. The government is working to bring the injured and stranded to a safe place.
