Flooding Disrupts Prithvi Highway, Increases Air Travel Demand

Kathmandu. Flooding from Rasuwagadhi has affected the Trishuli River and its banks, currently blocking the Prithvi Highway. Consequently, all vehicles entering and exiting via the highway have been halted.

With the main highway connecting the valley to the rest of the country closed, demand for air travel has surged.
