China Landslide Causes Flash Flood in Nepal's Bhote Koshi River, Disrupts Border Crossing

Kathmandu. According to Chinese news, the sudden flood in the Bhote Koshi river in Rasuwa on Wednesday morning was caused by a severe landslide in the Chinese territory of the Nepal-China border on the same day. Chinese news reported that road, communication, and electricity services were affected due to this landslide.

According to China's state news agency Xinhua, the landslide occurred near the Gyirong Port in Gyirong County, Shigatse, Tibet Autonomous Region, on Wednesday. Local authorities stated that the landslide blocked the road leading to the port and also affected communication and electricity supply.
