Agriculture Minister Directs Formation of Rapid Action Teams for Flood Damage Assessment

Kathmandu. Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Gita Chaudhary, has directed five relevant departments and bodies under the ministry to form and mobilize 'Rapid Action Teams' to immediately collect details of damage caused by floods and coordinate necessary actions.

Minister Chaudhary has directed the concerned bodies to immediately collect on-site details of the damage caused by disasters within their respective jurisdictions and prepare necessary reports to assist in rescue, relief, rehabilitation, and future action planning.
