India, China, World Bank Mobilize Immediate Aid for Flood-Hit Nepal

Kathmandu. India, China and the World Bank have moved to provide immediate financial and material assistance for rescue, relief and reconstruction efforts in flood-affected areas of Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Finance, World Bank Country Director for Nepal David Sislen informed Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle that up to Rs. 25 billion in emergency assistance could be mobilized from various sources following the floods.
