Police Team Mobilized for Flood Rescue Coordination in Rasuwa

Kathmandu. A team including two DIGs has been mobilized by the Police Headquarters to coordinate the search and rescue of those affected by the flood in the Bhote Koshi river in Rasuwa. Police Spokesperson (DIG) Abi Narayan Kafle said that various teams including Deputy Inspector Generals have been mobilized for rescue and search. Police Headquarters has mobilized DIGs Sudarshan Koirala and Om Rana for search and rescue coordination.

DIG Sudarshan Koirala has been deployed for rescue operations and legal assistance in the affected area. He will work from the headquarters. DIV Om Rana will work from the command post at Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj, coordinating with hospitals in the Kathmandu Valley.
