UN Secretary-General saddened by severe flooding

Kathmandu, Aug. 27: United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has extended his condolences to the families of the victim of severe flooding in Nepal and China, and wished a swift recovery to those injured.

“I am saddened by the severe flooding in Nepal and China, which has claimed many lives, left people missing, and caused widespread destruction,” the UN Secretary-General wrote earlier today on his X account, formerly known as Twitter.
