BhoteKoshi River Flood Causes Significant Human and Material Damage; 162 Bodies Recovered

Kathmandu. A severe flood in the BhoteKoshi River in Rasuwa has caused great human and material damage. According to the latest statistics released by the Nepal Police, 162 bodies have been found.

A total of 162 bodies have been found so far, brought by the flood and found in the affected areas. The highest number, 64 bodies, were found in Chitwan. 27 in Dhading, 26 in Nawalparasi, 20 in Gorkha, 12 in Nuwakot, 9 in Tanahun, and 2 each in Rasuwa and Nawalparasi (West).
