Jhapa Police Seize Large Quantity of Watermelon Seeds

​Biratnagar. Police in Jhapa have recovered a large quantity of watermelon seeds illegally hidden. The District Police Office, Jhapa, seized the seeds by raiding based on special information.

On August 13, 2024, at approximately 6:00 PM, secret information was received that seeds were illegally hidden in the house of Bhimlal Subedi located at Gyan Chowk, Ward No. 3, Bhadrapur Municipality. Based on that information, a team of 55 people from the District Police Office, Jhapa, led by Superintendent of Police Vasundhara Khadka, was mobilized.
