Kaligandaki Corridor Reopens After 8-Hour Blockage

Baglung. The National Pride Project Kaligandaki Corridor, which was obstructed due to landslides caused by rain, has come into operation after eight hours. The road was obstructed when a landslide with mud fell in Belabagar of Jaimini Municipality-8 in the Baglung section of the corridor this morning.

Efforts were made to operate the corridor using landslide clearing equipment since morning, and the road was opened after about eight hours, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwar Twati of the District Police Office. He said that it took time to clear the road due to continuous rain and landslides with mud.
