9 Bodies Recovered from Floodwaters Handed Over to Nepal

Rupandehi. Indian security agencies have handed over the bodies of 9 people who were swept away in the Bhote Koshi river flood and reached India to Nepal. The bodies found in the Khadda and Padrauna police station areas of Kushinagar district in Uttar Pradesh, India, were brought to Nepal via the Sunauli border and handed over to the Belahiya Area Police Office in Rupandehi.

Indian police brought five bodies on Tuesday evening and four bodies this afternoon. Among the bodies brought to Nepal are four women, including a girl, and five men. After completing the necessary procedures in Belahiya, the bodies were sent to Lumbini Provincial Hospital in Butwal.
