Province Chief Nazir Miya Stresses State Responsibility for Human Rights Commission Recommendations

Kanchanpur. Sudurpaschim Province Chief Nazir Miya has stated that the state must be responsible for implementing the recommendations of the National Human Rights Commission. Receiving the annual report of the National Human Rights Commission, Sudurpaschim Province Office, Dhangadhi, which includes activities carried out in the fiscal year 2082/83, the state of human rights in the province, and contemporary human rights issues, he said that the recommendations should be implemented.

Province Chief Miya stated that citizens themselves need to be aware and conscious about human rights issues. He said that the promotion of human rights cannot move forward effectively unless citizens are aware of human rights.
