National Janamorcha Welcomes Proposal to Abolish Provincial Assemblies, Expresses Concern Over Secularism Stance

Kathmandu. The National Janamorcha has welcomed the proposal to abolish the Provincial Assembly passed from the first national convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). In a press statement issued on Friday by acting president Rashmi Raj Nepali, Janamorcha stated that it has taken the decision to abolish the Provincial Assembly positively.

The statement expressed the belief that the abolition of the Provincial Assembly will simplify the administrative structure of the state, reduce unnecessary financial burden, and further strengthen the ongoing debate about the country's current structure.
