Minister Sudi expresses commitments to implementing CEDAW Committee recommendations

Kathmandu, Feb 27: Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Nawal Kishor Sah Sudi, has said the government is ready to implement recommendations of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Violence against Women (CEDAW) Committee.

During an interaction with media organised here today by the Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) regarding the conclusions and the recommendations of the recent CEDAW 90th Session, the Minister said the matters are directly concerned with the Ministry and it is aware of its roles in implementing the Convention effectively.
