Acting Chief Justice Orders Registration of Recommendation Against Chief Justice

Kathmandu. Acting Chief Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla has ordered the registration of the petition against the recommendation of the Constitutional Council for the Chief Justice and to set a date for hearing.

The writ petitions filed separately by senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi, advocate Geeta Thapa, and Premraj Silwal, raising questions about the legality of Sharma's recommendation, were rejected administratively on May 8, and a rejection order was issued.
