Far-Western Nepal Forest Guards Protest for Service and Grade Demands

Dhangadhi. Forest guards of Sudurpaschim have taken to the streets with demands to maintain their service and grade. They staged a peaceful धरना (sit-in protest) in front of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers' office in Dhangadhi on Thursday.

Forest guards working in all nine districts of Sudurpaschim have gathered in Dhangadhi to have their demands addressed. Approximately 70-80 forest guards participated in Thursday's धरना. According to them, forest guards from other districts are also continuing to arrive in Dhangadhi.
