Kathmandu District Branch of Nepal Journalists Association Protests Discriminatory Government Decisions

Kathmandu. The Kathmandu District Branch of the Nepal Journalists Association has staged a sit-in protest in front of the Department of Roads, demanding the repeal of discriminatory and arbitrary government decisions regarding information and advertising, and the protection of the constitutional rights of the press.

The branch staged a sit-in protest with demands for the formation of an all-party task force through the parliament to initiate constitutional amendments and ensure unimpeded access to information.
