62 Bodies Found on Narayani River Bank

Kathmandu. 62 bodies washed away by the flood in the Bhote Koshi river have been found on the bank of the Narayani river in Nawalpur. So far, 26 male, 16 female, 3 male children, 7 female children, and 9 bodies of unknown gender have been found, informed Anil Pandit, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Nawalparasi East. He said that the collected bodies are currently kept in the municipal-level hospitals and preparations are being made to send them to Pokhara. The identity of any of the found bodies has not been revealed. The District Police Office has stated that the work of collecting bodies has been intensified since early morning. The District Police Office, Nawalparasi East, has informed that a police team has been mobilized for the collection of bodies.
