Gosainsthan Festival Draws Devotees in Kavrepalanchok

Kavrepalanchok. The Gosainsthan in Banepa, Kavrepalanchok, is believed to be connected to the important religious site Gosainkunda in Rasuwa for pilgrimage.

A grand fair is being held today, the day of Saun Shukla Purnima, at Gosainsthan. Today, on the occasion of Janai Purnima, also known as Raksha Bandhan, devotees from local residents and neighboring districts have participated in the festival.
