Myagdi Police Urge High Alert Due to Rising Kaligandaki River Flow

Myagdi. The District Police Office, Myagdi has urged residents of the coastal areas to exercise high vigilance as the flow of the Kaligandaki river has increased with the rain. Informing that the river's flow is increasing with muddy floods mixed from Mustang, the police have requested the general public not to go near the river banks and risky places and to stay in safe places.

The office's Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajan Karki said that the residents have been informed to be vigilant in view of the potential risks that may arise in the coastal areas. "Information has been received that muddy floods have come from above. We have urged the residents living around the Kaligandaki river to exercise caution," he said.
