Jhapa Rural Municipality Launches Land Management Services

Jhapa. Jhapa Rural Municipality has formally started land revenue and survey-related services through its own land management branch from today. With the operation of the service, local citizens will no longer have to travel to the district headquarters for various land revenue and survey-related works. The land administration service was initiated in a program presided over by the acting chairperson of the rural municipality, Anjudevi Thapaliya.

Speaking at the program, acting chairperson Thapaliya announced the operation of land administration services through the local government, expressing confidence that it will provide easy, fast, and effective services to the citizens. According to the rural municipality, in the first phase, services related to the purchase and sale, resignation, inheritance, and registration of land for which electronic photos, thumbprints, signatures, and 'Land Owner Identification Number' (LIN) have been established on the land ownership certificate will be provided.
