Roads Affected by Floods and Landslides Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Due to continuous rain for the past few days, traffic services have been affected as floods and landslides have occurred on various main highways of the country. According to the latest data from the Nepal Police, roads in many places in the Kathmandu, Koshi, and Bagmati provinces are completely or partially obstructed.

Alternative routes connecting to and from Kathmandu and Lalitpur have been obstructed due to landslides. The Kanti Lokpath is completely obstructed due to a landslide in Bagmati Rural Municipality-3, Pandur, Lalitpur. Similarly, the Sitapaila-Dharke road section is also completely shut due to a landslide in Nagार्जुन Municipality-8, Thulo Khola, Kathmandu.
