KP Sharma Oli Summons Koshi Chief Minister Hikmat Karki and Two Other Leaders to Kathmandu

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has summoned Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Karki and two other leaders to Kathmandu. Oli has called Chief Minister Karki to Kathmandu after seeing that his attempt to make a new Chief Minister by having Karki resign through Province In-charge and Secretary Sherdhan Rai was not succeeding.

Chairman Oli had instructed Secretary Rai to go to Biratnagar and make Karki resign to create an environment for the appointment of a new Chief Minister. Accordingly, Rai called a meeting in Biratnagar on Monday afternoon to discuss the selection of a new Chief Minister. However, since Chief Minister Karki took a stance in the discussion that he would not resign at anyone's behest, Oli has called Karki and 3 other leaders to Kathmandu.
