Uganda Taxi-Truck Collision Kills 14, Injures 4

Kathmandu. In Uganda, at least 14 people died and four were injured when a taxi van carrying passengers and a truck carrying sand collided. The police have stated that they have intensified the search for the truck driver, who fled after the accident.

According to the police, the accident occurred on the highway at Kamunga Trading Centre in Kalungu district on Monday night. All the deceased were passengers of the taxi. The police have stated that the four injured are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
