Chinese Citizen Rescued Alive from Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project Tunnel After Flood

Nuwakot. A Chinese citizen has been rescued alive from the audit 4 tunnel of the 216 MW Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project, affected by the Rasuwa flood. The Nepali Army and South Korea's disaster expert team rescued the citizen from inside the tunnel on Saturday. The Chinese citizen, rescued on the 11th day of the flood, is being brought to Maibal Barracks in Trishuli, Nuwakot. The project area and tunnel were affected by the severe flood that occurred on Bhadra 10.
