21-Year-Old Rescued Unconscious from Phewa Lake During Kayaking

Kaski. A team of armed police rescued 21-year-old Ayush Tamang from Udayapur in an unconscious state while kayaking in Pokhara's Phewa Lake. Tamang, who had come to roam in Phewa Lake behind the Talbarahi Temple located in Pokhara Metropolitan City-6, drowned while kayaking.

As soon as the incident was reported, a team was dispatched from Armed Police Force Nepal No. 24 Battalion HQ Kalika Phewa Rescue Tower. A disaster rescue team under the command of Armed Police Assistant Inspector Ramprasad Sharma was mobilized with necessary rescue equipment for search and rescue.
