Woman Missing in Flood Cremated Religiously

Salyan. The religious rites of Pramila Budhathoki (Basnet), a resident of Bagchaur Municipality-8, Gairagaun, Salyan, who went missing in the flood in Bhote Koshi, Rasuwa, were performed today according to religious rites.

As her physical body was not found after the flood, the final rites were performed by making a straw effigy according to Hindu religious and social traditions.
