Kathmandu. Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising has stated that the government's move to remove unmanaged settlements and landless squatters from riverbanks in the Kathmandu Valley has created a serious humanitarian crisis.

Ghising objected to the government's unplanned action after the death of 36-year-old Bheshraj Darji, who was kept at a holding center in Kirtipur.
