Devotees Flock to Bindhyabasini Temple for Jan Purnima

Kathmandu. On the occasion of Jan Purnima, a crowd of devotees has gathered since early morning at the Bindhyabasini temple premises in Pokhara to worship and tie Rakshabandhan from the pandits.

On the day of Purnima, it is customary for followers of Vedic Sanatan Dharma to bathe in rivers, lakes, ponds, and pools from early morning and tie a sacred thread (Rakshasutra) from their gurus and priests.
