Kathmandu. Dr. Dhawal Shamsher Rana, a leader who has left the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has commented that questions have already arisen across the country regarding the lifespan of the current government. He claimed that they are forming a new nationalist party as an alternative because the current government led by Balendra (Balen) Shah has already made many mistakes within a hundred days. Leader Rana made this assertion while speaking at a 'Responsibility Handover and Introductory Program for Nationalist Party Construction' organized in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Clarifying the organizational structure and leadership of the new party, Rana informed that medical businessman Durga Prasai will lead the new party. Rana stated that Prasai has become a leader of the common people and an established 'brand' across the country with the agenda of King and Hindu Nation, and therefore, they have reached an understanding with him. As per the agreement, Prasai will be the leader and main brand of the party, and there is an internal preparation for them to run the party. He accused RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden of not honestly advancing the agenda of democracy with the king and Hindu nation, which is why they had to establish a new party to rescue the agenda of the monarchy and Hindu state.
