MPs Criticize Government for Inaction on Public Issues

Kathmandu. Members of Parliament have expressed anger, stating that the government has not taken any concrete steps to address the problems and suffering of the public. Speaking in the zero hour of the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, MPs Ain Bahadur Mahar, Ramesh Kumar Malla, Khusbu Oli, Ashika Tamang, and others said that the government is not serious about providing relief to citizens facing various problems.
CPN (UML) Chief Whip Ain Bahadur Mahar demanded immediate relief for the victims of the fire in Bajhang, which caused significant loss of life and property. He expressed objection, stating that the government has been delayed in providing relief to citizens affected by disasters who are facing a lack of food, shelter, and clothing.
