Kannada Superstar Yash's Film 'Toxic' Earns Over 137 Crores in Two Days Amidst Mixed Reviews

New Delhi. Kannada superstar Yash starrer film 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups' was released in theaters on Wednesday. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences, it has not had much impact on the film's earnings. This action thriller had collected 100 crore rupees at the box office on its opening day. However, its earnings saw a significant drop on the second day.

According to data from business website Sacnilk, the film has earned 36 crore 40 lakh rupees in India by 10 PM on Thursday. This is 64 percent less than the previous day. The film's occupancy on the first day was 56.1 percent. But on the second day, it decreased to 26.6 percent. Interestingly, the film is performing better in the Hindi belt compared to Kannada. After Hindi, the film's Telugu version is receiving a good response. Meanwhile, earnings in Tamil and Malayalam have slowed down. In two days, the film's total collection in India has reached 137 crore 50 lakh rupees.
