Ministry Actively Restores Power in Rasuwa and Nuwakot After Bhote Koshi Flood

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has shown further activeness in restoring power services in Rasuwa and Nuwakot, which were affected by the damage to electricity infrastructure due to the Bhote Koshi flood.

According to the ministry, despite adverse weather, electricity services have been restored in about 99.8 percent of homes in Dhading, 96.7 percent in Nuwakot, and about 78 percent in Rasuwa. A technical team from the Nepal Electricity Authority has been mobilized to supply electricity to the remaining areas.
