6 Dead in Mumbai Building Collapse Amidst Heavy Monsoon Rains

Mumbai. In India's financial capital Mumbai, 6 people including 5 children died when a dilapidated residential building collapsed amidst heavy monsoon rains. Officials said on Monday that life has been affected as roads have been submerged due to continuous rain.

According to Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde, the building in the eastern part of the city collapsed on Sunday, trapping residents in the debris. Rescue teams have recovered bodies from the spot.
