Cabinet Directs Finance Ministry to Prepare Relief Package for Flood Victims; PM, Ministers to Donate Salary

Kathmandu. The Council of Ministers has directed the Ministry of Finance to prepare a relief and rehabilitation package for flood-affected people. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Friday directed the Ministry of Finance to prepare the package, informed government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports, Yamalal Khatiwada.

Similarly, the meeting decided to deposit one month's salary and remuneration of the Prime Minister and ministers into the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.
