Rastriya Swatantra Party MP Nisha Dangi Draws Attention to Elephant Menace in Jhapa

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Nisha Dangi has drawn the government's attention to control elephants, stating that the general public is finding it difficult to survive due to the elephant menace in Bahundangi, Mechinagar, Jhapa.

Speaking during the zero hour of the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, MP Dangi said that 62-year-old Padma Paudel lost her life on Sunday while picking flowers at her home. She also stated that elephants destroyed 3 bighas of maize in Mechinagar.
