Burlakoti urges government to declare Shaheed Lakhan, Ichchhakamana as disaster-affected zones

Chitwan, Sept 7: Kabindra Burlakoti, Chief Whip of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has urged the government to officially declare Shaheed Lakhan Rural Municipality in Gorkha and Ichchhakamana Rural Municipalities in Chitwan as disaster- affected areas.

Burlakoti, who represents Gorkha-2 in the House of Representatives, said the two rural municipalities are facing a severe crisis following the floods and called for immediate government intervention.
