11 Hydropower Projects Damaged by BhoteKoshi Flood, 121 Trapped in Tunnels

Kathmandu. The Nepali Army has stated that although 11 hydropower projects were damaged by the flood in BhoteKoshi, Rasuwa, only about 121 people are trapped inside the project tunnels.

At a press conference held by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority on Monday, an army official briefed that although it was said that about 900 people related to the project were missing, not all of them were trapped inside the tunnels.
