Progressive Democratic Party Expresses Deep Sorrow Over BhoteKoshi-Trishuli Flood Damage

Kathmandu. The Progressive Democratic Party (Pralopa) has expressed deep sorrow over the unimaginable human and physical damage caused by the BhoteKoshi-Trishuli flood. Party Chairman Santosh Pariyar, in a statement on Monday, offered heartfelt condolences to all Nepali and foreign citizens who lost their lives in the flood. He also demanded that the government continue the search operations until the status of the last missing citizen is confirmed.

According to the statement, the sudden water flow originating from the high Himalayan region of Tibet, spreading through the Lende River to the BhoteKoshi, Trishuli, and Narayani river systems, caused great devastation in the riverine areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, and others.
