Bagmati Province Allocates NPR 8.9 Billion for Water, Energy, and Irrigation Ministry

Hetauda. The Bagmati Province government has allocated a budget of NPR 8.9 billion for the Ministry of Drinking Water, Energy, and Irrigation in the upcoming fiscal year.

According to the province's Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning, Prabhat Tamang, the budget has allocated NPR 460 million to start the construction of 60 irrigation projects, YangriLarke Indrawati and Helambu Melamchi embankment, Pati Chaur multipurpose pond, and Hile Jaljale multipurpose pond, which are found to be feasible through studies.
