Tanahu Police Intensify Search for Flood Victims in Trishuli River

Tanahu. Following the flood in the Bhote Koshi river, the District Police Office Tanahu has intensified search and rescue operations for bodies and missing persons washed away in the Trishuli river. After the flood, 39 bodies have been found on the banks of the Trishuli river in the Aabukhairani and Devghat areas of Tanahu.

To make the search and rescue more effective, a police team with trained dogs from the Gandaki Province Police Office Pokhara has been deployed in Tanahu. Police teams from the District Police Office, Area Police Offices Aabukhairani, Bandipur, Devghat, Sarangghat, and the temporary police post Mugling Pul are jointly engaged in the search.
