Devastating Flood Affects Nuwakot, Over 200 Missing

Kathmandu. Life has been affected in various areas of Bidur Municipality in Nuwakot due to the devastating flood. The local administration has stated that more than 200 citizens have gone missing due to the flood, and it has been difficult to deliver rescue and relief materials to some places.

According to Prabha Bogati, Deputy Mayor of Bidur Municipality, children who were taking shelter in schools were rescued by helicopter in three phases on Friday morning. Children in Manedhunga, Ward No. 12 of Bidur Municipality, were rescued by helicopter.
