Bhadra Suryasasthi

In Hindu Sanatan Darshan, every festival, big or small, is celebrated with great importance and pomp. Dashain Tihar, Rakshabandhan, Nagpanchami, and many other festivals are on the list and today is Bhadra Suryashthi. Since Suryashthi falls on the day of Chhath or Shashthi, it is also called Chhathi. This festival falls 12 times in a year. Bhadra Shukla Shashthi has its significance, let's talk about it today.

Tij on Tritiya, Ganesh Chaturthi on Chaturthi, Panchami Brat on Panchami are the convoy of special days, and now is the sixth day or Suryasasthi. Because the series of fasts has been going on for the last few days, the fast has not been given much importance in this Bhadra Suryashti. The sun is considered to be the source and element of the entire creation, the greatest and brightest thing that human beings have ever seen.May every rising and setting sun shower grace on our lives, be the mercy of the sun, and keep the circle of creation moving.

Wishes for this day

Hamro Patro - Connecting Nepali Communities
Hamro Patro is one of the first Nepali app to include Nepali Patro, launched in 2010. We started with a Nepali Calendar mobile app to help Nepalese living abroad stay in touch with Nepalese festivals and important dates in Nepali calendar year. Later on, to cater to the people who couldn’t type in Nepali using fonts like Preeti, Ganesh and even Nepali Unicode, we built nepali mobile keyboard called Hamro Nepali keyboard.
