Complaint Filed Against Irregular Appointments at Bir Hospital and National Trauma Center

Kathmandu. A complaint has been filed at the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) alleging illegal appointments were made in various times for technical positions including Medical Officer and Consultant at Bir Hospital and National Trauma Center without completing the necessary legal procedures. Dr. Amit Jha filed the complaint at the CIAA office on Wednesday.

The complaint claims that open competition was not held while filling vacant positions in those hospitals, public notice was not published, and appointment procedures were adopted against the rules.
