Nepal School Employees Council Demands Budget Reconsideration for Service Benefits

Kathmandu. The Nepal School Employees Council has demanded that the Nepal government reconsider increasing their service benefits in the budget presented in the parliament for the upcoming fiscal year.

Issuing a statement today, the Council stated that clarity is needed regarding the salary scale, stability, and social security of school employees working in community schools in the budget. The statement issued by Council Chairman Gangaram Tiwari and General Secretary Shanti Ram Yogi stated that despite repeatedly meeting, discussing, and drawing the attention of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, leaders of various political parties, concerned ministers, and high government officials, the demands have not been addressed.
