Activist Majid Ansari Vows Legal Battle Against Police Brutality

Kathmandu. Climate activist Majid Ansari has said he will fight a legal battle against the barbaric repression and beating by the Nepal Police when he went to help manage flood-affected landless people at the Kirtipur holding center.

Issuing a statement after being discharged from the hospital, Ansari said he was illegally detained and subjected to extreme physical and mental torture.
